Previously, I covered the 5 worst hostel behaviors. Yet like a guy pulling his pants all the way down to pee at a urinal, some behaviors aren't inherently bad but rather are just...weird. Witnessing weird behaviors is a rare, exciting experience. Even rarer is experiencing the once-in-a-lifetime weird behavior that is also reminiscent of that scene in the The Wizard of Oz where the Wicked Witch of the East is killed by Dorothy's house.
If I don't play basketball for a few weeks there will be a noticeable decline in my mental well-being. That's important for you to know so that when I tell you today was cold and cloudy and rainy and I'd been starved of some basketball for a few weeks, you understand why I ventured out to a court to play for a few hours with a pure-joy smile stretched across my face for every second of it.
After playing, the overcast weather than hung in my mind cleared way for sunny skies and happy vibes. Coincidentally, the same thing happened for Lisbon. Unfortunately, I was too tired and sweaty from the basketball to enjoy the nice weather. Of course I couldn't enjoy the nice weather without the basketball, but that's my challenge.
