Day 10
Location 2: Vienna
Nov. 10, 2022
By this point in Vienna, I had befriended a few British dudes. One in particular wore glasses and thus had naturally earned the moniker of "Harry" throughout the hostel, referring to the famous wizard. He was, uh, not particularly fond of this nickname.
He eventually got over it when this Harry ended up finding his Hermione (or Ron or Ginny or whatever), as seen below.
"Is he okay?" someone asked as I wandered off from the group on our way back from the bar. I was okay. Just needed a quick taste of home, thanks to this retail store aptly named New Yorker.
Earlier that day I played basketball with some kids, one of which was wearing a shirt that said "New York". He was super cool and explained he was wearing the shirt in support of Kyrie Irving (his political views, not his athletic ability).
...we actually did briefly talk about Kyrie and all agreed he's an idiot.
There were only 3 of us, so we played king of the court. Here are some basketball highlights of that set to the greatest song of all time, Basketball by Lil' Bow Wow.
Here are some bonus photos including:
some traditional Viennese cuisine (top, middle)
when Darcy and I stealthily snuck into the closed-off backroom section of a bar (top, left)
an inexplicable life-sized Betty Boop outside an otherwise very normal restaurant (do you really need me to tell you which photo this is?)
